Established in 1988, the American School of Doha is an independent, U.S. accredited, college preparatory school, committed to providing educational excellence, through a standards-based, internationally enriched American curriculum, serving a multicultural student body. A challenging and engaging academic program

The American School of Doha offers the International Baccalaureate program, Advanced Placement courses and college preparatory courses. All graduates of ASD earn a standard U.S. High School Diploma. Of the 214 total faculty members, 60% hold advanced degrees. The faculty is 78% North American but in total represents 23 countries.

Exceptional education

The American School of Doha is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, and is a member of the International Association for College Admission Counseling. Last year, ASD students were accepted to all eight Ivy League schools in the United States, and 73% of our graduating seniors were admitted to their first choice college or university.
