Qatar Sports For All Federation and Qatar Ultra runners team invites you to participate in the biggest and longest ultra running event in Qatar in its 3rd edition starting from the Sheraton Park and finishing at Dukhan Beach (90km)
“Qatar East-to-West Ultra Run” is an iconic event. Spanning from the eastern coast of Doha to the western coast of Dukhan, taking you on an unforgettable 90 km experience through the magnificent Qatari desert. Qatar East-to-West Ultra Run is not a race, it’s a challenge where the goal is to finish the whole distance or to cover as much distance as possible, based on your personal goals.
The first QEW run that was organized by “Qatar Ultra Runners” team took place on the 15th of December 2017 with 25 runners of whom 5 finished the whole distance. In 2018, the number of participants increased to 100. This year, the event has been taken to the next level with the help of Ministry of sports and Qatar Sports For All Federation.
Qatar Ultra Runners team is working side by side with Qatar Sports For All Federation to raise and promote awareness regarding the concept and philosophy of ‘Sports For All’ and to expand the practice of sport within the society.
Our vision is to see “Qatar East-to-West Ultra Run” grow and become a prestigious event that attracts runners from all over the world which enriches the ultra-running culture in Qatar.
