Exhibition: Artistic Dimensions to a Healthier World

Oct 2, 2019 to Oct 27, 2019
06:00 PM until 08:00 PM

An exhibition, curated by WISH, that looks at the interrelationship between art and promotion of health and wellbeing, as well as shines a spotlight on healthcare issues that were raised at WISH 2018.

The exhibition set to take place at the Fire Station will feature artworks by Giles Duley, an award-winning humanitarian photographer who documents human plight in war zones across the world.

Also on display will be drawings created by the Rohingya children who are currently living in refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, after fleeing persecution in Rakhine State, Myanmar. Some of these children are part of a program called ‘Creative Methodologies for Mental Health and Psychosocial Support with Children in Emergency Settings’, which is being delivered by the UK-based charity, Save The Children, in these camps.
